Site

Full operation, even offline

A local extension of the Hub that keeps a group of agents running and supervisable, even when the connection back to the Hub is down.

Local resilience

No blind spots when the connection drops

An operation spread across multiple locations can lose the link to any one of them — a maintenance window, a severed line, a network outage — without losing the ability to monitor and operate it. A site keeps running fully on its own until the connection to the Hub returns. The only thing that has to wait is a configuration change — agents, sites, and users are still created and managed centrally, in the Hub's control plane.

Site capabilities

Same agent-facing API

A site exposes the same GraphQL API the Hub uses for measurements, alarms, and commands. The HMI built for the Hub works against a site without changes — it just sees the agents connected to that site.

Full offline operation

Measurements, alarms, interlocks, and commands are all evaluated locally. Only configuration changes wait for the connection to come back.

Docker Compose bundle

A site ships as a Docker image, alongside its own database and IAM server — the same docker compose up model as an agent.

Control plane stays in the Hub

Agents, sites, and users are created and configured in the Hub's control plane, never on a site. A site only runs what it's been given, and syncs back automatically the moment the connection returns.

Deploy a site

One site, near every agent

Agents are assigned in the Hub to connect directly, or through a site — a mix of both is normal. Place a site close to the agents it covers, and it keeps them running even when the network doesn't.
